This privacy notice discloses the privacy practices of the official website, , for ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Park College (NPC). This privacy notice applies solely to information collected by this website. Consistent with Ark. Code § 25-1-114, this policy describes the following:

Official College Websites

Except as noted, the information in this privacy policy applies to NPC’s website. This site complies with the college’s template, graphics, and Web standards as managed by the Advancement Office.

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

NPC is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. NPC only has access to information voluntarily given to us via email, submission of a form, or other direct contact. NPC will not sell or rent this information to anyone. This information will only be used in response to the user.

NPC is required to comply with the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) (Ark. Code Ann. § 25-19-101 et seq.) and may be required to disclose records maintained in daily operations unless these records are exempt from disclosure under federal or state law. Therefore, some data collected through NPC websites may be subject to disclosure upon receipt of a valid FOIA request.

ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Park College may be legally required to disclose information collected through university websites in response to a valid subpoena or court order or to comply with a legally permitted inquiry by a governmental agency or regulatory body.

Cookies

NPC’s websites use cookies. Cookies are small pieces of data stored by a browser on a user’s computer.  For instance, some sites may use a cookie to identify a repeat user, so that user would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time. Cookies can also enable tracking and targeting of interests from users to enhance site wide experience. NPC has business partners that may use cookies on the official site. However, NPC has no access to or control of these cookies.

Google Analytics

NPC uses Google Analytics, a Web analytics service provided by Google, Inc., to collect information such as URLs, Internet domain and host names, browser software, date and time site visited, etc. NPC allows a trusted third party access to this information in our ad campaigns for Adwords and Google Analytics. This information is also used with Google’s Tag Manager to track clicks and actions done on official websites. This is done in order to improve user experience and to remedy any user frustrations the websites.

Search Analytics

ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Park College uses a third party search engine to supply relevant content from the official website. NPC collects information from these search results such as date and time, key terms, IP Addresses, and other analytic data that will help to improve website services and experience.

Facebook

Third parties may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to collect or receive information from NPC’s website and elsewhere on the internet and use that information to provide measurement services and target ads. Cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies collect and analyze, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Referring and exit pages, and URLs

ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Park College’s websites use the Conversion Tracking Pixel service offered through Facebook. Pixel allows NPC to follow the actions of users after the user is redirected to a provider’s website through a Facebook advertisement. This allows the recording of Facebook advertisement effectiveness for statistical and market research purposes. Users may opt out of any future contacts from NPC at any time. Users may do the following at any time by contacting NPC via email or phone:

  • Check information NPC has about yourself, if any.
  • Change/correct any data about yourself
  • Have NPC delete any data about yourself.
  • Express any concerns about our use of data about yourself.

Security

NPC takes your security and privacy very seriously. Web traffic, sensitive information via form submissions, and any information stored offline is encrypted and transmitted through a TLS SHA-256 encryption layer. This can be verified by checking for a lock icon in the address bar and finding "https" at the beginning of the address of the Web page. NPC also protects sensitive information offline. Only NPC employees that need particular information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which this information exists are kept in a secure environment.

NPC may have sites that accept online payments. These sites will have encryption enabled. The confidential information entered for these payment transactions is only to be used for purposes defined within/for the transaction. Some transactions are isolated from campus systems and may be managed by a third party.
